The School of Information Engineering is one of the first departments of the college. We have five majors now, which are computer application technology, computer networking technology, software technology, application technology of internet of things and mobile application and development, and over 2000 students are studying in the school. We have provincial brand specialty group, and take the lead of the steering committee for specialty construction of computer vocational education and the teaching guidelines on software technology of Shandong vocational education. Computer application technology is the Ministry of Education, Shandong Department of Education pilot professional of the first batch of modern apprenticeship . We have taken the lead of spring entrance examination of information technology for three years and have won the first prize in the national competition of“application software development of mobile internet”.
We attach great importance to talent training and promote the construction of curricula and teaching staff. We have a database for specialty construction of vocational education, 7 provincial excellent courses, 10 college excellent courses and over 40 planning textbooks.
