March 22 ---- To further the cooperation and promote the development of international school-running, the lifetime professor Yang Jianhua of Columbus State University visited our college with his assistant, Sundian. The president of our college, Liu Guiyu, took the guests to the innovative and venture base, gymnasium, automobile training center, network computer rooms of our college, and attended the conference with the vice president, Li Baocheng, Ding Wenli, and relevant section chiefs.

At the conference, President Liu first expressed the greetings to Professor Yang, introduced the basic conditions of school-running features, talent training, high quality institute construction at this stage and international education. Then Professor Yang introduced their university briefly and proposed some constructive suggestions on international school-running pattern, development and constructions of specialties, management, improvement of scientific and research. Yang also indicated that some universities in United States are trying to develop cooperative relations with overseas institutes, especially in field of Chinese students’ studies in the United States. It is an opportunity for our college to develop the international education. Both sides exchanged the opinions in respects of cooperation, “2+3 type” overseas education, international teaching staff introduction and skilled talents training.

President Liu indicated that it is an opportunity to promote the development of international school-running and improve the level of international cooperation and exchange, and it is crucial to high quality college construction. He also emphasized that every department should put Yang’s perspective suggestions into practice. As for the cooperation, the college will make plans for cooperative programs to improve the work of international education..

Yang also gave the lecture ofModern Information Security and Skill Developmentto the teachers and students, which has raised the awareness of modern information security, and the teachers and students have learned the trend of modern information security development. All the heads of departments and the teachers and students of Information Engineering attended the lecture.
